That Council Agenda CL 5-2024, BE ADOPTED.

That Council DO NOW MOVE into closed session for the purposes of receiving information of a confidential nature respecting: An Education and Training Session under s. 239 (3.1) of the Municipal Act, 2001 – Integrity Commissioner Training Session regarding Regional Council Meeting held January 25, 2024, and Correspondence to the Regional Chair from Councillor Bateman respecting Regional Council Meeting held January 25, 2024, with covering memorandum from the Regional Chair.

That the training and education session provided in closed session by Michael Maynard, Integrity Commissioner, BE RECEIVED; and That Regional staff BE DIRECTED to provide a report for the Regional Council meeting being held on July 25, 2024, that contains the following: a. A summary of the Integrity Commissioner’s recommendations from the April 25, 2024, training session; b. Options for implementation (including suggested amendments to the Procedural By-Law, Code of Conduct and any other relevant policies); and c. An environmental scan of best practices for consideration that may assist Council in the management of agendas and general decorum.

That Confidential Memorandum CHR 3-2024, dated April 25, 2024 respecting Correspondence to the Regional Chair from Councillor Bateman respecting Regional Council Meeting held January 25, 2024, BE RECEIVED.

That Minutes CL 2-2024 being the Open Session minutes of the Regional Council meeting held on Thursday, January 25, 2024, BE ADOPTED.

That Bill 2024-24, being a by-law to adopt, ratify and confirm the actions of Regional Council at its special meeting held April 25, 2024, BE NOW READ and DO PASS.
