That the Women’s Advisory Committee RECOMMENDS: That Regional Council SUPPORT the submission of an application for funding from the Canadian Women in Local Leadership (CanWILL) project, which aims to address the systemic barriers that women face when running for municipal office, while also improving the context and environment once elected to ensure their full participation once in office.
