That Correspondence Item DEIAC-C 4-2021, being a presentation, provided by C. Ogunniyi, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Program Manager, dated August 24, 2021, respecting Diversity Related Advisory Committees, BE RECEIVED for information. The following friendly amendment was accepted by the Interim Committee Chair, and the mover and seconder of the motion: 1. That Correspondence Item DEIAC-C 4-2021, being a presentation, provided by C. Ogunniyi, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program Manager, dated August 24, 2021, respecting Diversity Related Advisory Committees, BE RECEIVED for information; Diversity Equity and Inclusion Advisory Committee Minutes DEIAC 2-2021 August 24, 2021 Page 3 2. That the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Advisory Committee RECOMMENDS: i. That the Region proceed with Option A (presented in DEIAC- C 4-2021), establishing a 2SLGBTQQIA+ Advisory Committee and an Anti-Racism Advisory Committee to be formed at the beginning of the next term of Regional Council (2022-2026); ii. That a 2SLGBTQQIA+ working group and an Anti-Racism working group BE ESTABLISHED, reporting to the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Advisory Committee, for the remainder of the current term of Council; and iii. That staff BE DIRECTED to develop the terms of reference for a 2SLGBTQQIA+ Advisory Committee and an Anti-Racism Advisory Committee, with the assistance of the respective working groups. The Interim Committee Chair called the vote on the motion, as amended, and declared it,
