That Report PW 16-2025, dated April 8, 2025, respecting Vision Zero Road Safety Strategic Plan, BE RECEIVED and the following recommendation BE APPROVED: 1. That Regional Council APPROVE the Vision Zero Road Safety Strategic Plan (the Road Safety Plan) attached as Appendix 1 to Report PW 16-2025; and Public Works Committee Open Session Minutes PWC 4-2025 April 8, 2025 Page 3 2. That an amendment to the 2025 Operating Budget BE APPROVED by Regional Council at its meeting on April 24, 2025, subject to the provision of required public notice in advance in accordance with the Niagara Region’s Public Notice Policy CRC- 005, to seek approval for a one-time transfer of $1,498,348.93 from the Vision Zero Road Safety Program Reserve to the Road Safety operating budget, in order to fund works to implement the Road Safety Plan including as outlined in Appendix 2 to Report PW 16-2025.

That Report PW 18-2025, dated April 8, 2025, Request for Additional Funds for Quarry Road Landfill Leachate Management System Upgrades, BE RECEIVED and the following recommendation BE APPROVED: 1. That the gross capital budget for the Quarry Road Landfill Leachate Management System Upgrades BE INCREASED by $761,500 and that the increase BE FUNDED from the Capital Variance Project – Waste Management.

That Memorandum PWC-C 1-2025, dated April 8, 2025, respecting Update on Public Works Capital Projects – Q1 2025, BE RECEIVED.
