That Report COM 1-2024, dated January 9, 2024, respecting Approval of the 2022 Long Term Care Home Annual Report Audits, BE RECEIVED and the following recommendations BE APPROVED: 1. That the 2022 draft audited Long-Term Care Home Annual Reports for the year ended December 31, 2022 (Appendices 1-8 to Report COM 1- 2024), BE APPROVED; 2. That staff BE DIRECTED to co-ordinate with the auditor to finalize the statements as presented; and 3. That this report BE FORWARDED to the Region’s Audit Committee for information.

That Report COM 2-2024, dated January 9, 2024, respecting Homelessness Services Negotiated Request for Proposal (NRFP) Award Results - Prevention Services and Housing First and Home for Good Supportive Housing Programs, BE RECEIVED and the following recommendations BE APPROVED: 1. That the homelessness contracts to Prevention Services successful proponents outlined in Appendix A of Report COM 2-2024 BE AWARDED in the amount of $5,256,707 for the period April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2027; Public Health and Social Services Committee Open Session Minutes PHSSC 1-2024 January 9, 2024 Page 3 2. That an additional contingency for Prevention Services in the amount of $250,000 BE APPROVED should system adjustments be necessary during the term of the contracts; 3. That the homelessness contract to Gateway Residential and Community Support Services for the delivery of Housing First and Home for Good (HF/HFG) Supportive Housing Programs BE AWARDED in the amount of $6,337,693 for the period April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2027; 4. That an additional contingency for Housing First and Home for Good in the amount of $500,000 BE APPROVED should system adjustments be necessary during the term of the contracts; and 5. That staff BE AUTHORIZED to execute any required agreements and documentation related to the agreements for the service providers.

That Report COM-C 1-2024, dated January 9, 2024, respecting Homelessness Services Negotiated Request for Proposal (NRFP) Award Results 2024-2027 for Assertive Street Outreach, Permanent Supportive Housing and Transitional Housing, BE RECEIVED for information.
